Dad's got every episode of George Formby in a box set. We watch one every night and I think he's so awesome! This is my favorite of his songs and Keep Fit is a really good movie! Methinks I'll do an LPS version of this....obviously it won't be as good as this though :)

@secondfavoriteorgan - I bought my copy of "Spare A Copper" DVD from Amazon. Many George Formby movies have been officially rereleased on DVD in the last few years. Steer clear of unofficial copies being sold on eBay though, they are awful.

@MrLearningASL - Nearly always. I think there were 2 films where he had a different name - his name was John Willie in his 2nd film "Off The Dole" and for some reason his name was Willie in his 5th film "Feather Your Nest", which I think was a strange decision because he was called George in his 3rd and 4th films (and every film after the 5th). I'm not sure what his name was in his first film "Boots!

This is the first time I have actually heard a normal pop tune played on the Hammond Novachord. Up until now it was just effects and mood music. The Novachord is fascinating.
