The song is not about his desire to have sex with children, it is about his desire not to end up in trouble for getting together with a young lady who is too young. Guys in bands get approached all the time by young women who look older than they actually are, and they have to be careful. So his desire is to NOT engage in relations with someone who is too young rather than seeking out such relations. This makes him the opposite of a pedophile.FYI, a person who is interested in sex with teenagers is technically an ephebophile, not a pedophile.
