The album which followed this is a bit more adventurous and more self written. "The In Sound" was an immediate Verve release after the success of "Soft Samba" but it never got the lift it needed. "Fried Bananas" is my pick of the disc.9 years назад

Sadly, I sold them with my entire collection, but did keep the letter. I do have all the recordings on cd however! As you likely know the label was doomed by the desire for artistic freedom over bottom line! Thanks for your post.9 years назад

I never saw Gary perform live, but he wrote to me when I was in WesPac int eh Marines. He sent me some lp's on the label he, Gabor and Cal had formed, SKYE" and I'll never forget that it was THIS LP that started it all!10 years назад
