Getting really tired of people saying he sounds like Hendrix. That's just plain inaccurate. As good of a guitarist that GCJ is, he wouldn't be able to keep up with Hendrix on a his worst day. The biggest difference being this song is mostly a riff played over and over whereas Hendrix was mostly improv solos. What almost every guitarist does with a pedal or sound processor, Hendrix was able to do organically. Both are good in their own right but both are drastically different

This is a great Song....... I really liked this song in the nineties when Sliverchair played it. They called it "Isreals Son". They were also 15 yrs old when they wrote. Same as the opening riff Gary Clark just slowed it down.

Just saw Gary at RFK on July 4th with the Foo Fighters. First time I ever saw him live. Very awesome guitar player and he really wowed the audience with a very cool sound dynamic. I must say it took me back many years to when a raw distorted guitar and a soulful voice said it all.
