The earliest song in Gally's Folly's repertoire, and another song of the road, this was written back in the early 90's after Mickey had spent a couple of days "travellin' by thumb" from London up to the east coast of Scotland. The song can also be interpreted as a travel through time, peering through the mist as the veil begins to lift, revealing a hidden path that leads us back to a celtic, pagan past. Hope you enjoy the ride.
(Incidentally, the spoken word section in this song is taken from Shakespeare's sonnet 83)
