I agree that Leny Eversong's version is better because she has truly belted it out with feeling.

With all due respect to Frankie Laine, Brazilian singer Leny Eversong (1920-1984) absolutely OWNS this song. There is NOBODY else who can perform it as well. She took that old chestnut, raked it over the coals, and then nailed it to the wall. She sang that song just the way it is supposed to be sung, very dramatic, belting it out the way a great singer does. All other versions are virtually unlistenable.
