Sinatra was something special. His phrasing and manipulation of sounds and lyrics were second to none. He was the Voice. He is missed.

I remember watching this when it aired live on television. Sinatra was confused and sang the song first, then spoke the comments which were supposed to have introduced the song. Sadly, his faux pas became all too obvious to viewers as producers cut away for a commercial break.

The start of the song wasn't the best,but Frank make a revanche at the end.In the same year I saw him in Amsterdam with Liza and Sammy.Frank was fantastic this evening.Unbelieveble good.Men were criying.....so good.He's the best!

What the hell are people talking about? The man was 74 years old here! He sounds FANTASTIC for a 74 year old! I'd like to see any popular singer these days sing like that when they're 74. Plus, it's not just about the voice here. It's about the feeling, the emotion, the performance. And in that respect, there was never any better than Sinatra. But what do I know? I'm sure everyone else here criticizing the poor man's truly excellent performance his a trained musician....

He didn't really have the voice left for this song at 74. It's a hard song. he hits the notes but it's not him at his beast. he would have been better off singing The Best is Yet To Come.

Not a bad performance at all for this period in his career. He was over 70 years old by this time, and began to have more uneven concert appearances. "You'll Never Walk Alone" is an ambitious choice for someone that age to sing live. Politically, Sinatra was a life-long Democrat until he was famously slighted by JFK in 1960, and he became more Republican as he got older. He was a friend of Ronald Reagan, whom he supported both times, and George H.W. Not sure he got involved too much in '92.
