this is a complete ripoff of the Beatles. different effects, instrumentation, and words but these melodies are trademark McCartney and Lennon tunes. Of course they themselves ripped off Chuck Berry, Elvis and many more, so I guess it is more in regard of appropriating the 60s and 70s styles through cultural nostalgia. Either way, tis a great tune, I just think they could've made it less Beatles-esque and more unique, thereby making it more progressive in discovering our age's contemporary melodies. I believe that in combining nuanced sounds and melodies with traditional form and structure, we will create profound and resonating music, which these fans' children will attempt to replicate just like Foxygen did in this song. Except instead of mimicking, we adapt and add today's culture's most desired sounds to our creation. In this, lies the success in creating meaningful substance that will leave an imprint in our epoch. It will define it, it will embalm an entire generation into a cocktail of sounds and ideas. When we achieve this, we will know what true, pure and great music really is.

FOXYGEN in my opinion is one of de XXI C best groops ... This álbum is excelente from the beginning till the end but the problem is that we are in XXI C not in the 60s or 70s when everyone buyed the best vinyl productions ... now is the Live performance that gives you the Clory ... and its time to think as a XXI Band ... you can sell directely in every live performance or no one buys your CD ... Dont Forget Vnyl returned ... so Try a vinyl edition and I think it will be a best seller ...FRIENDLY/EMIR
