Fighters - My Hero (live)*** Thinking of a very special Aunt who was like a mother to me....She was Mom to me .. It has been 5 yrs & I flew home for another relative that had passed away that she was a caretaker for... took my special Mother Aunt out for (unknowingly) her last Valentines Day at a dinner of her choice ... a nostalgic " I Love Lucy Diner" . Best memories ever. I bought her dinner wit her favorite hershe kisses with a diner cocoa mug to go.. We spent 2 weeks like 2 long time HS friends. got a couple dz pink roses & a rose red rose bush...A month after I left she still had a bad cold & was diagnosed with 4th stage cancer. I flew back home & stayed by her side ...It was the longes week & a half ever.. they let he go home ....made her as comfortable as possible...bathed her & fussed with her hair they sedated her ... & we did hospice care ..stayed by her side....told her it was ok to go, she did all she could here on earth ...I hugged her & gently kissed her lips .... then she was gone. called all the kids she raised ...sadly she never had children of her own.... we had a circle prayer around her... I could feel her passing spirit flowing by me .. the warmth was incredible.... She had the biggest heart in the world ..my guiding light...forever she remains in my heart.. She will always be my hero!
