Fortunately, there used to be a progressive rock/jazz fusion show on FM radio called Stone Trek. 98.5 KOME San Jose, CA. If it wasn't for that show I would have never heard of many of the bands that I have loved for over 24+ years(Camel, Marillion, Focus, Al Di Meola, Mahavishnu, Dixie Dregs, early Genesis, early Yes, UK and others)

In the US here, hardly anyone knows Focus, even people over the age of 50, but I like them for 40 years.

Focus always had quality sound production in all their recordings. Just very clean and full.

Mix msic from the renaissance with jazz-rock before it existed, add driving bass, piano, new-drums and a stratocaster , it might become symphonic jazz or anything, but what it is : It's up till the last note, an ever-fresh thing to get focussed on : the dutch band FOCUS.
