old foals are less math rock and more contained. like this stuff (titan arum, dearth etc) is far more techno and alternative. the newer songs like miami and spanish sahara from the Blue Blood EP - which in my opinion are equally as fucking amazing - are more constrained and less alternative. The new stuff is less 'spacey' i guess you could say (:

@fetmabebis Both! I was stoked when Antidotes came out, but when I had a look at Edmund Fitzgerald and early Foals I was like, whaat? How has this not gotten more attention? TLF is a good album, but it's no real comparison.
