The idea of accepting things and growing from them, and never allowing bitterness abs despair to rule the short time we have is universally appealing. The song obviously has a Christian overtone, given its production by a Christian rock band and the poetry blatant lyrics. Regardless i wish non-christians would stop egging Christians on. You have no idea how lame it is to spend 4 minutes gleaning your own a-religious meaning of humility and good nature from a song just to scroll down and listen to stupid Christians spit on the very ideals Christ supposedly embodied while arguing with clear flame baiters. Baiters, cut it out. Christians, fucking behave with civility like you're supposed to. Sheesh.

Okay everyone lacey's a Christian, this song is about praying to God and thanking Him for taking their pain away and for answering their prayers it's not about Hindu religion or any other religion it's about praying okay got that through your thick skulls and if you've actually, let me repeat this again and if you've Actually listen or have been to there concerts in the past lacey testifies about being saved and how God changed her life so shut up and just enjoy the freakin song and if this hurt your feelings about whatever other religion you're following I'm sorry I'm not here to judge, I'm just here to explain what their music is actually about.

John RossStar, I do not know what comments you were talking about, but what you have mentioned as to qualify these christians as counterfits are all ultimately correct. First, eternal torment, eternal torment is verry real. Please read Revelations 20:11-15. In verse 15 is says "Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire."(NIV) I do not know about you but I do not find flame to be pleasant when emerged into. I am getting ahead of myself but seperation from God is eternal and by being seperated from God you are being cast into the lake of fire. Next, Immortal soul, is once again verry real and Biblical. My next example is from Matthew 25:31-46. Vs 46: “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” Here we have yet another example of eternal punishment but also of eternal life, I am not saying that your body is going to live for ever, because we die, but after our bodies die our soul continues to live. Now read John 10:22-30. "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish..." later on it also talks about the trinity, but verse 28 is what I want you to focus on this set. Now Titus 1:1-3. "In the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time," John 3:16-18. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Verse 17 and 18 I will use later. Finally you listed trinity. By that I assume that you mean that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy spirit being one entity. To ourpuny litle brains this is unfathomable. But God is so much more than we can imagine. He was around an eternity before time began. None of our brains can even try to imagine such a thing. In Matthew 28:19-20 we are told to, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,..." now since God is a jelous god, Exodus 34:14 why would he have us baptise in the name if him and another two people? This shows that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all one. So as i see it, none of the things you have listed are counterfeit. I pray that you will learn from this and that you will now be able to understand God more fully. Please feel free to to state your opinion and to reply. Thank you.

I see a lot of counterfeit christian comments on here - eternal torment? immortal soul? trinity? why don't you just be a Hindu and cut to the chase...leave Christ out of it, he has nothing to do with your fake religions
