Good lord all these people coming here and saying"Divergent brought me here" or "I'm only here for divergent!" Why? Just why? This song was never even in the movie or on the Divergent soundtrack-just to clear some things up. But honestly, just cuz it's mentioned in the author's playlist all these people think that this song was created for Divergent and it wasn't. Flyleaf is an amazing band and Lacey is an incredible singer. The song and soundtrack came out before Divergent.

Don't get me wrong, this song is amazing! But the music video, in my opinion, is a bit disturbing. There looks to be some rotting flesh in it. Also the creepy music when the " chasm" appears is kinda like souls screaming... But love the song!!!

If you like the song because of Divergent, well that's great. Divergent is an ok movie, though while everyone's arguing let me just give my two cents.The song, to anyone who's read a bit of the bible, is yes probably about the story of Lazarus and the rich man. A sad, realistic depiction of the respective rewards of good and evil upon death.The video on the other hand, I believe, relates more to the book of Revelations. Toward the end of the tribulation, the antichrist and his army will wage war directly against God's saints, and they are destined to kill the majority of them off before Jesus returns to earth, saves His remaining people, and then of course destroys the antichrist and all evil forever and ever. It'll be awesome. And scary. But not for those who belong to Him.The woman in the video on the evil side is most likely the whore of Babylon, looking as sly as she does. Just a guess though. The antichrist is the big gross monster thing.The boy on the other hand I'm not quite sure of. Perhaps just an artistic play on the little drummer boy story or something.The tribulation will be unlike any disaster the world has ever seen, and who knows whether or not this very generation will live to see it? Regardless, there's nothing to fear. Take heart, Jesus has overcome the world.Just my interpretation though. No offensive comments please! I'm not a major in apologetics here, just sharing my thoughts.

People it this song is not from divergent but veronica roth who wrote the books used this song to inspire the books she said so in the collectors editon of divergent and anyway this song was wrote way before divergent
