People don't understand God. People are in fact scared of him. Because you can't see him or because seeing his people and how they worship scares people. If people would just understand that if someone would just allow themselves to understand God, to try and be comfortable with him, to respect those who do follow him people would see how real he is and his presence. But everyone is entitled to their opinions. Its not brainwashing, it is choice. The same thing as being atheist or agnostic.

I'm not trying to demean what you say, I'm really not, I'm glad you think that way. I personally think that what someone believes in shouldn't matter as long as they promote good will and kindness, that should be everyone's goal. But seriously, with the way things are and the way they are getting worse every day, It's getting near the point where it won't be 'mean' or 'wrong' for normal considerate people to ask, "why should I believe?" In which case proof is needed, and there is none. :(

How can anybody say that? When there's tornados that tear apart churches in some states while the people stay inside because of faith, every day there's children BORN with cancer or some other disease, soldiers returning home to hate or discrimination and even sometimes surviving wars to come back and get shot by some stupid hoodlum. There's children trapped in fires burned alive and there's rape and murder in life so much that people have become 'used' to it. How can anybody believe anything?
