We miss you Lacey, I understand your choice of leaving the band. Way it looks to me, Complete IMO. Is that Flyleaf is like a tree, It sprouted, it grew and leaves began to grow from the tree as well, And the first leaf that fell. It was like it was flying, soaring high into the heavens and traveling around the world on a what seemed like a never ending breeze. But after a good 10 years. It had finally rested to the ground, The tree now weathered, the seasons now changing with time. Yet... I don't mean to sound rude, but it's like you guys cut down the tree and are waiting for it to grow back...Somethings are just better left alone.. Would of probably been better if the band ended and the former members created a new band with the current singer. Just saying that her style of singing just doesn't match that of what flyleaf stood for or what it was. Plus Lacey's voice made it a one of a kind band. Lacey's voice inspired millions, the whole band inspired millions! Now... Well that tree isn't going to grow back anytime soon i guess. Kristen May has great potential, just not as your replacement. You're non-replaceable! :) Miss you and hope life is going good for you. And on a down low note <.< >.> You should totally make a song with Benjamin Burnley from Breaking Benjamin someday. The combination of two godlike voices will forever change the ways of life, space and time! It will be epic o.o MY mind has been spoken! And again this is all just a IMO. That is all. -From a fan since 2002 (Texas ftw!)

Kristen May, unlike Lacey, doesn't have a MARBLE MOUTH when she sings. Lacey just goes to show you can whisper sing and make tons of money doing it, especially if it's in the name of god.

Her voice is raw, she didn't go into vocal lessons for years like the other girl. This is her true voice, which is beautiful. Almost every band either change the name or find someone in the same vocal genre as them..Flyleaf is turning into pop with grunge effect on it..I just kinda said screw it and haven't listened to them in forever .-.

I don't think Kristen is bad at all. She just has a different style in singing. I think people just got used to Lacey's style, which made it hard for people to accept the fact that she left the band.
