I really fucking love this version. When this song got big, I was in summer camp and everyone was playing it and the video is so wooden and perfect for it--it just brings back bad makeup and wood cabins and awful food, mud, twigs, how everyone ran barefoot even though it killed our feet, and the wood stairs we ran up to get to our cabin, and our cheers, handmade cards to each other, letters from parents, girls dyeing their hair at midnight for fun. We were all sisters there. We were all friends.
