I used to live in alphabet city 79-87. Flipper step van always around during the summers. Loved their approach. Plenty of stamina for drummer. I remember some show where they played this song until everyone either got up and danced (at least a little) or left. No sitting and watching like a cool asshole. Pretty funny!!!

@Tanya; Almost can't believe I'm commenting on someone else's old argument... The truth rarely lies in the middle. Yep, Flipper were stoned or whatever, but fuck all they could play their instruments and were at least as sincere as the rest of us. The sun rises in the east, not in the "middle", no matter how many idiots say it rises in the west. Too bad the other side of the conversation was deleted, looks like it was "sweet".
