I'm glad he made it a point to tone down the heavy-handedness of the lyrics in regards to spirituality. It was the one thing keeping me from listening to them before, and honestly? Loving the new album. Everything that's already been said x10, it's great.

I'm trying my hardest to get my wife to give me birthday tickets for the Feb 15th show in Tulsa. FIF was the most important band in my teens and I'd love to see them now! Went to a show they had about 15 years ago in a Tulsa bowling alley. Met Reese... Gotta make this show!

The horn section was awesome. I saw you guys in Charlotte, NCWhy did you guys not play "Every New Day"....that's a real personal spiritual song and everyone agrees it has a amazing tune- its a perfect song for a set to legions of loyal fans...and I was dying to hear ya play it. To me the new album surprised me, it sounded very mainstream and was totally awesome! I'm only 14 but I've been listening to FIF since I was born. My parents past it down to me and I just love it! By the way Micah and Scott are my Bass idols! Five Iron Frenzy inspired me to become a bassist! Also I'd like to say you guys were awesome to see FIF play at the plaza live!
