I don't use that web site for the lyrics...My Extraordinary Machine CD doesn’t have the lyrics (yours does it?) but I think You're wrong. Furthermore monkey/ape is not a word that Fiona uses in her lyrics (and I think she would never use the word ape, for another reason....) and ache fits much better: I think she considers the love a pain…but when she is not in love, she misses it.
