*EL DÍA 25 DE ENERO DE 1956**NACE EL GUITARRISTA BRITÁNICO **ANDY COX** (Fine Young Cannibals)*Hoy cumple 59 años *Andy Cox guitarrista británico nacido en Birmingham quien junto a *Dave Wakeling* , fundó *The Beat* en 1978. *The Beat* logro posicionar ocho sencillos en el Top 40 y tres álbumes hit en el Reino Unido antes de anunciar su separación en 1983. Algunos de sus éxitos mas notorios incluidos son *"Mirror in the Bathroom", "Hands Off She's Mine" and "Can't Get Used to Losing You"*.En 1985 se incorporó como guitarrista junto a su compatriota *David Steele* y al cantante *Roland Gift* , para formar *Fine Young Cannibals*, banda que nació en 1984. *David Steele y Roland Gift* fueron sus compañeros de aventura. *She drives me crazy, Good thing* y la versión de *Suspicious minds*, el clásico que popularizó *Elvis Presley*, fueron sus mayores éxitos.En 1988, mientras *Fine Young Cannibals* estaban en receso, *Cox y Steele* lanzaron el sencillo instrumental de música house , *"Tired of Getting Pushed Around"*, bajo el nombre de *Two Men, A Drum Machine and A Trumpet*.
