This was Fernando's first national release after a string of excellent independent releases (which have since been nationally distributed). I have bought and enjoyed his albums since "This Bright Hour" and at least one from before, but this album remains my favorite. It perfectly captures his style, mixing insightful folk songs and worshipful hymns. "This Bright Hour" clocks in at 52 minutes and every song is a gem. It is difficult to pick which album comes in second (they are all excellent), but this one is clearly his best.
