Seriously! This has got to be one of the best pop singles of 1984. Not exactly rare, Felt nevertheless deserves a spot on this channel for falling in the "generally unknown" category. I just discovered this band and it's turning into one of those slightly obsessive love affairs that one can have with music from time to time. This single is from my favorite chapter in the bands history. Taken from the bands third album - The Strange Idols Pattern and Other Short Stories - Sunlight Bathed The Golden Glow was released in July 1984. I was 11 that summer. If only I'd heard this song...
Cherry Red Records recently reissued all ten Felt albums plus three compilation albums and a DVD. My advice: C H E C K I T O U T !!!
