2/x Btw, just because it grows does not mean its good for you, crocodiles and E.Coli grows in nature, so does fat and sugar, that does not mean its healthy. The whole "synthetic is worse than naturally occurring" is a fallacy from the days of hippies. Synthetic substances are today designed with humans in mind, knowing what is and is not healthy for us, naturally occurring substances however, weren't designed for your health or enjoyment.

You can easily make dangerous cannabis, cannabis has both anti-psychotic and psychotic chemicals. too much of one and too little of the other and your home-grown cannabis is akin to undercooked chicken; dangerous stuff. Anti-biotics you grow at home (in moldy bread, lets say) consists of both anti-bacterials and bacterials, but that does not mean you're trusted to make your own anti-biotics. If you fail at the task society must pay for your mistake (pay for your lost work-hours and healthcare).

How you can fail with that? Stomach ache is the worst thing I suppose... ..it is not realy antibiotics, it is more anti-depressives, analgetics, body lotions etc... everything which is heavily commercialised. And atm we are using some heavy chemicals to do this bidding. So concerning our footprint (ecology) and health (synthetic chemicals vs plants).

In Norway its illegal to drink alcohol in parks, and alcohol is taxed like nobody's business (a pint in a pub costs 10 dollars). And cannabis can be used industrially (we've among other things allowed a medicine derived from cannabis). But I don't see us ever allowing cannabis in its un-treated form as any form of supplement or medicine. Because you are not allowed to make your own antibiotics in the backyard because it will cost society if you fail (which you likely will).

If cardiovascular disease is what we understand as a problem (and we do, EU here) then we should probably do something about coffee, right? It is mostly healthy food and some exercise which improve that. Yeah and no alcohol, since alcohol is really a posion. THC is not a poison. Its effect is actually quite the opposite to posion. Like LSD, (but on smaller scale) it stimulates many dormant processes in brain. muscular tissue, blood stream. To this day the confimed ones are overtly positive.

that is BS, if anything, marihuana decreases the risk of cancer, thanks to these intresting properties of many cannabinoids in blood stream. But yeah, weed is drug as any other, it should be understood in this context. It is like alcohol. It is not very good thing to smoke cigarettes constantly, or drink coffee heavily or drink alcohol everyday. Same with weed, it is not overtly positive to smoke all the day everyday. But still, it is far less dangerous - health/social-wise - than alcohol.
