. . . I believe this is my favorite song by Fantasia. I've always loved her raspy vocals and this song's vocal arrangement. (Even a soprano could knock this song out with the right approach and technique.) The pain in her voice is believable, given her life story. Real, "gutsy" soul. ;-)

Love can hurt. Love can hurt sometimes. This s*** is bittersweet. Fantasia. I'm ready to move forward with the next chapter in my life. In all of my relationships with women that I've been with each has left with more than what they came with ie... Spiritually, Emotionally, even Financially. Not in any particular order. I think they would tell you I am a good dude?? Maybe or maybe not. I was engaged twice each lasted almost seven years. Both women brought children into the relationship as did I. I am proud to say that I never favored the boys over the girls. I was a Father Figure as best I could. Gods honest truth. I demanded they respect their Mom & themselves, and to love God. Am I perfect No.?! But I would rather they overshoot the mark & miss. than undershoot and hit. God Bless Us All.
