What a great band and so underrated. I've never played this song for anyone who'd never heard of it or the band without them loving it, even now 40 years down the road. So much of the music from this era still stands the test of time and I'm so lucky to have been there for it. I highly doubt that the teens and 20-somethings of today will be saying that about this era's music 40 years from now. Most of it will probably be long forgotten by then.

First heard this on a BBC2 arts programme hosted by Joe Melia in 1972. One of the first pieces of rock (ish) music I had ever really listened to and I still love it. has the same muscle-numbing quality as John Martyn's Solid Air
