I'm gonna sound like a twelve year old emo/goth wannabe thing here just for a sec,kay'?To shorten a very, very long story I'll explain it with a very blunt word; cancer. Actually, three words; fourth stage cancer. It's a very rare kind known as Neuroblastoma, normally found in infants and toddlers who can usually burn it off no problem with a little nudge from chemo or treatment. Unfortunately, the older you that you have it, the worse it is. They found it a week after my 12th birthday, and I was almost completely paralyzed from the torso down, and entirely number from my neck down. By the time my incompetent pediatrician figured that "maybe I DIDN'T have a tract infection!", I couldn't walk and was in constant unbearable agony. Due to all the fun stuff, being in a hospital for most of four years, and experiences that have been locked up by my mind due to trauma induced memory loss, if I end up having to be checked into the hospital I will freak the FUCK OUT. I'll have some of the most nasty panic attacks ever, and I once had to be wheeled to my room because I went catatonic. If I spend more that four days on hospital visits, I start to crack. By the end, i'm usually a blubbering mess who gets nauseated by even the slightest scent of antibacterial soap, and my mom has to help wash me. But, this song... I need to remember it. I've always felt that since some songs can inspire very deep emotions, that I should listen to them to help keep it together, which is no easy task. I've added this song, One Reason, and Bleed Like Me by Garbage to a list of songs to help me out. Of course, I don't know how valid said playlist is considering it's the same one I've put Tubthumping by Chumbawamba in... But still, this song seems to be very helpful for me, and I'm really glad that there are REAL songs with REAL meaning and REAL emotion put in it! Pretty much all songs I pick up on off the internet have no real sentimental value for anyone expect hipster white chicks with fake wide-rim glasses and a Starbucks mocha frappe glued to their hands. So, in conclusion to this extremely unnecessary and long comment; thank you, whoever you are for putting up this song, and thank you, fade, for making it.
