Perhaps, but very few people back in the day were able to predict the absolute revolution in information access such technology was capable of bringing. Back then it was all ANSI text on a monochrome screen, to even contemplate live streaming video was laughable. Data sharing happened through physical copies. I don't think it's a surprise that at the time, computers looked like just another gimmicky "must-have" like brand-name shoes and scents. And even now, no one "must have" computers.

I used to have Caught in the Act on tape ... would love to get a copy of that again and play it to death the way I used to. What songs were on there? A walk in the light green (I was only 19), Fabulon, Poor Ned, a haunting version of the Dimantina Drover, Stewie, In the Long Run, Raggin (Raggin' red red a raggin), Brown Rice and Kerosene, Caught in the Act ... I'm bound to have missed a few. I also used to have Virgin Ground on tape, but that's another reminiscience! ....

Great stuff matey, I not listened to this stuff in many years. Do not even have a tape deck these days the the Tape I had is long gone. this was on my Tape.. "Caught in the act" one of there best albums. I also had the lead singer teach at my school. Marion High School...
