On June 13th Eyedea & Abilities performed their new album "By The Throat", for an intimate audience at Intermedia Arts in Minneapolis, MN. Each song was prefaced with a short story or an explanation about that song. Michael Gaughan, the artist responsible for the album artwork, did a watercolor painting of the duo while they performed. "Sky Diver" is the third video in this series with more videos to come so stay tuned.

Back when I was a junkie I used to do a shit ton of the best smack on October 16 and just jam (and nod) out to his music all day. I felt it was a good way to honor him at the time... Oh and for all the fans saying he couldn't be an addict:you're wrong. I can recognize it. It doesn't make the person any less. I went to college and made all A's as a junkie. I think he experimented with psychedelics based on his lyrics and interviews. Probably tried others too. We know he died from some sort of overdose whether it be an opiate overdose or mixture of anti-anxiety and sleeping pills.
