Gorgeous gorgeous voice and rendition. Thank you. Exactly how classic timeless ballads from the golden era should sound.

What a voice, so much emotion, and that laugh on Carol Burnett show. A classy lady, no pretense. This was on the jukebox where I frequented back in the sixties. It got the most plays. I also like "Guess Who I Saw Today" do you have that?

When I was a kid and listening to only the Beatles my Mom made me listen to this and to this day I have never forgotten what a beautiful beautiful voice she had. What a fantastic gift she had. Range, softness and power all rolled into one. That you Eydie! Rest in sweet peace.

This was the first version of this song I ever heard back when I was a teenager..I later on discovered Nancy Wilsons version..and then Chaka Khan ...each one different but I love em all.

One of the most beautiful songs ever written. Can she sing! What a voice she had. I grew up listening to Edie Gorme and her husband Steve Lawrence, and people with pure raw talent. Miss those days.

Eydie here along with Nancy Wilson give two of the definitive interpretations of this particular song. Both women peaked in the 1960's, an era that arguably produced the best female torch singers ever, probably will never be topped again. Absolutely spine-tingling here !! Also, check out Nancy Wilson's performance on Youtube too, a different performance but equally spine-tingling!

Well, I'll prob get attacked for saying this, but Eydie sounds like Streisand here.

@azw596 You are very welcome, Azw596! I have had the version by Mr. Williams since the 60's and that one has all the memories attached. I came across this lovely version by Ms. Gorme just recently and fell in love with it instantly. I just had to share it with other folks. Thanks so much for your very nice comments! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it! Jim
