Extra Prolific

Extra Prolific consisted of rapper Snupe and dj/producer Mike G. The duo were affiliated with the Oakland, California based crew Hieroglyphics. The group duo was noted as the lesser known artists from the Hiero family. In 1994 Extra Prolific dropped their official album "Like It Should Be" on Jive Records. Eventually both group members departed from the Hiero crew and the duo broke up due to unknown circumstances.

One thing I have to say about the old 90s still; even though the subject and topics most of the rappers were talking about then weren't always conscience minded, their delivery was of such that you kind of knew that they were intelligent people basically talking about street shit so in essence the conscience movement was still a lingering factor in the face of street topics and foul language. This dude comes off very slick, smooth, cool, yet smart at the same time. Expression truly is universal.
