That first 'scream' he does at 0:18 matches Dave's voice exactly. He actually sings like Roth...with his guitar! He was unbelievable.

AWESOME! Thanks for posting this. I was skeptical that is what some jerk off playing pretending this was Edwards track. But that is 100% HIM in 1984 ('82-'83 in the studio). I'm a guitar nut from the 70's I know those fingers, that tone, the tunes man. lol Love these videos! I had to figure these licks out by ear off the record/tape back then. This would have been a dream to have in the 80's. Kids today are so damn lucky!

so many people have done videos on deconstructing the beatles, the rolling stones, or van halen. but SOMEONE should do videos on deconstructing led zeppelin, lynyrd skynyrd (america's rolling stones) or cactus (america's led zeppelin), ted nugent, or the amboy dukes ft. rusty day. that would be AWESOME!!!
