yeah on this album only because its a concept album based on boy who feels lost & chooses to serve god, joins a cult, loses faith then is traumatized by religion & goes through life in torment later coming to terms with his belief in a higher power The overall purpose of the story is that you dont have to be of any certain religion just to get a seat in there "heavens" A god dwells inside each and everyone of us, You are your own God! I'm sorry to say this, but most of you that are making comments just DONT GET EVERGREY. Waking Up Blinded is a very profound idea.If you actually listen to what is conveyed here you will start to get these guys. I know them.I am involved with ProgPowerUSA. Tom is a very profound thinking person and writes songs that are not pop/bubble gum by any means.They are good enough performers to actually make a living if they did.Integrity keeps them a thinking persons band.My channel supports these bands

This is one of the softest evergrey songs that I know of. But everygrey overall isn't a screaming band they may sing a little louder at times but that's just music. It would be boring if u would sing in the same tone all the time. I would recommend the song " the dark I walk you through" I love the lyrics even though they are sad.

can some one guide me and tell me about more bands like this?. i mean( good and powerful guitar riffs,no yelling or screamo stuff,) i can stand or bypass the lyrics thats no problem.but the the other 2 are a must no.

well yea only found screamos yelling absurd lyrics. some full of hate and morbid and some yelling like a devil,bitching about why his girl left him,cause of a nother guys awsome car.. ant way too much violence and hate in teh world to use my will to push the play button and hear that crap. evergrey is just delightful .

@beome i get you bro..i agree.on the same side once i left religion all the sky opened day by day for me and it keeps opening.i just can say, its amazing,i never though the truth would be so.mmm truly . so real and so comfortability .but man whe are on evergrey´s video.so i must say. for me this is one of the best bands stepped in the world now days. i was looking for something like them for many years.i only found,good guitar riffs with screamo guys,(to be continued)
