I'm surprised that this song isn't on the soundtrack to the TV show "Pretty Little Liars". It can be used when Aria starts falling for Ezra, her English teacher. She's probably told Ezra lots of lies as she is one of them, and considering the fact that A is stalking her for the secrets she's keeping from everyone else. I think that Max here had a crush on one of his teachers (note the school metaphors and "I'd say it aloud but I'm not allowed"), but didn't want her to go to jail because he was under eighteen at the time of the song's writing, just like what happened to Ezra in Pretty Little Liars.

I never heard the word "congruent" until I heard this song. Eve 6 have expanded my vocabulary. "Congruent" and "Appease" were completely unfamiliar words to me until I heard them in "Leech" and "There's A Face", respectively.
