(SPOILER ALERT) I absolutely ADORE Guilty Crown. It's hard to watch bc the Soundtrack and plot are just so perfect together. Now to the "plot holes" that honestly aren't plot holes. A lot of people are complaining about how Shu wasn't suited for The Power Of Kings and how he's always just a tad too emotional. BUT! The emotions he has are supposed to help develop the plot of him being the one who wields the power. Gai didn't need have to cut off his hand. That shows the greed of Gai and how he only wants power and the girl. Next, Shu's sister being patient Zero for Lost Christmas. Yeah her fate sucked but somewhere in the anime a quote about fate is actually made. Funeral Parlor fighting GHQ bc as we later find out they try to use the Virus to help take over Japan as well even killing those close to Shu at points showing just how cold GHQ really is. Shu becomes conceited like he does bc of this! It DEVELOPS THE EMOTIONAL aspect of the plot! There are no holes! Shu by accident gained the power he did and then to escape the GHQ went off with Inori and Funeral Parlor! Shu wanted to live just as bad as anyone else did and he wanted to feel like someone in his life cared about him, enter the soundtrack, bc not many did. Even his closest friends nearly turned on him! With this Soundtrack you're supposed to gain a calm but in depth feeling of the events going on in the anime! It ties the characters, the love, the emotion, all of it, together! The anime was meant to be a Sci-Fi, Love, Action kind of thing and Guilty Crown adapted this better than anyone else did. This anime needs a season 2 and I would be more than happy to help the producer make one. Guilty Crown for life!

crying over an anime is all about giving a shit . If you give a shit about the series / characters , if you put yourself in their place and think for one second that there is in the world someone who've had the same problems as this person in a similar way you can cry. That's why I cried to certain parts of angel beats cause most of the stories of the dead characters do happen sometimes. But it's easy to just not connect with the characters and because of that not cry.

i can give it a try but even if guilty crown is just a rip off, the charackters i think are still different. (btw i also watched angel beats, anohana and so on and didnt cry)
