Gibson AJ Custom, J-45, SJ and other series are really better than this Santa Cruz OM & other models that I heard and played. Gibson is not scattered sound and its bass strings are very authoritative and very distinctive between every notes , in short, distinctive nice tone, overall, Gibson is really authoritative sound, solid sound, strings vibrations are narrow compared to Santa Cruz acoustic guitars which sound cloudy and strings vibrate too long. Santa Cruz acoustic guitar sounds Nylon strings which mostly cloudy sound, not good for me and to western music. Gibson guitars sound very authoritative and distinctive tone. The secret?, Maybe the strings.

You continue to amaze me. You really know how to use dynamics. I like the way you use very resonant open string chords at just the right spot in these jazz pieces. I've tried on my non-cutaway acoustics to reach as high up the fretboard as you do. However, it seems when I do it I am always risking injury and the notes don't always sound properly. Do you have some secret calisthenics program that enables you to hit those notes so high up the neck?
