ARMS Charity Concert was a rock concert at Royal Albert Hall in September 1983 to support the action of Research for Multiple Sclerosis. The idea to host the concert was provided by Ronnie Lane, former bassist for The Small Faces and The Faces, himself a victim of multiple sclerosis. The concert provided an alignment of stars and well known British musicians, including Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton , Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, Andy Fairweather-Low, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts and Kenney Jones. Eric Clapton played his mystical hit "Layla," a presentation of classic rock and roll.
