Where this came from was when Eric Clapton was visiting Jimmy Page's house in Epsom, Surrey, England. Miles Road is where Jimmy still lived with his parents. This was one of several jams recorded on a Simon tape recorder ( If Iam not mistaken ), which you could plug electric guitars directly into. Jimmy Page let Andrew Loog-Oldham know about the tapes. They were confiscated due to contractual obligations. Some of these jams feature members of the Rolling Stones overdubbed with Clapton's and Page's guitars. This is great work. I like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page equally. All are great guitar talents.

Just my personal taste, but Always liked Page better. Love Clapton too.

These guys are both legends. I daresay the best blues guitarists in their surviving generation!

eric had to be a vocalist too.. something jimmy never did.. which adds pressure to the jam.. overrall.. eric is more polished... until page records an album with him on guitar and vocals

Thank gawd Jimmy Page went beyond this dull standard blues and took it into the stratosphere....unlike Eric.

I bought this record in 1972 when I was 15. It changed my guitar playing style. Wish I still had the album. Great simple tracks. Great for learning that style of blues.

People, people, people! Can't we just listen to the music without tearing each other's hair out? Page is great, Clapton is great, and both in their own vastly different ways. Quit with this so called "sloppiness" crap. Read up on what makes something sublime.

Does not matter... Clapton is the king, but Page is the God of guitarists, lord of strings and picks :)
