Yeah, somehow this is just as awesome though, I'm really excited for this change of pace. I saw them live last year and definitely one of the best metal bands out there! There's also hints of Enslaved in this new direction... awesome.

To be honest I expected something similar to their previous releases, but if I'm correct they created Ereb Altor as a tribute to Bathory, so I shouldn't be surprised when they recorded a music corresponding to the Quorthon's early compositions. This particular song reminds me a lot of "Under the sign of the black mark" and I realized how much I missed it. I will miss this clean voice, one of the most beautiful male voices I have ever heard, but I definitely buying this album!

It's the first their album I've heard. Only two songs ("Seven" and this one) have changed my attitude to viking doom metal forever :)

how to dislike a song like this?..., is not as epic as their previous releases and the style is more aggressive and more in a blackmetal vein but is an excellent song and the album is fucking great
