bit late to this debate, but may i point out that a lot of the traditions of the Vikings and Scandinavian mythology in general were likely passed down orally thru story-telling and songs, it's impossible to say if there is a "right" or "wrong" spelling of something.10 years назад

There are several different "correct" ways of the name, Òðinn, Odin, Oden Wotan, Oðin. It depends on where you are from. Oden is Swedish, in Norway and Denmark we use Odin. Scandinavia is a region of 3 countries: Norway, Sweden and Denmark with 3 different languages.10 years назад
