I love Patty's version but I do love this one. I have covered Patty's version with a band I was in a couple of years ago and as a drummer I enjoy the feel and groove of Emmy Lou's a bit more.

I love Emmylou Harris. She's one of the few artists whose cover version I think really add something to the songs. But this just isn't very good, even when you don't compare it to the original.

I can't find it online anywhere! Fortunately I have an acoustical version of this song from a radio station here in Minneapolis/St Paul which annually has a CD entitled CITIES SAMPLER and the 1998/1999 version has Patty Griffin's ONE BIG LOVE: It is quite beautiful and one of my most treasured posessions.
