I wanna dig my way to hell...and back. I noticed the name Brittany Murphy in this video. I know Brittany starred in Eminem's movie 8 Mile as his girlfriend. The other movie that I associate Brittany with is Just Married with Ashton Kutcher. They are two very different movies. I really liked both and thought Just Married was very funny and sweet even if it was full of European stereotypes like the idea that we all drive tiny cars. Americans love their SUVs and hummers. I was working in The Dundalk Democrat for around a week when my colleague, Nick, told me that he had bought a copy of Just Married as a wedding gift for our then editor, Dolan O' Hagan. Dolan currently works as the Deputy Editor of The Irish Examiner. Anyways, I thought it was a great wedding gift idea and bought a copy of it for two friends who got married in 2008. Unfortunately though some years later Brittany Murphy died suddenly and a short time later so did her boyfriend / life partner. Ever since I have not been able to think about Just Married in the same way. It's sad to think that Brittany is no longer with us and I didn't even know her. But I know Eminem and Ashton Kutcher must feel sad about it as they worked with her. RIP Brittany. Gone but not forgotten.
