I saw her at a house party in Tacoma with Simple Citizens. there were about 30 people there,after her set we all stayed and had a dance party while the DJ spun a set til the early hours. One of my best nights ever.

What can I say about Emily except I never saw someone so fascinating as her. I am a musician since I was 5 years old, been around all sorts of musicians, saw plenty of talented musician and not so talented, but to see Emily in her element and do what she does is just mesmerizing. I saw her in Aug 2010 in my city's Annual Folk Festival in Regina, Sask and the first song I seen her play on stage was Passenger. Loved it instantly and it is my all time favorite. A dark song but so good!
