Oh boy, I remember this !! I remember coming home on the coach from a School geography trip in the Scottish Highlands and sitting in the back of the coach singing this with a guy called Ian Lawson !!! Gosh, it takes me back ! Love it !

Remember seeing Emile and the Checkmates at the Granada in Kettering, he had great stage presence, great song, thoroughly enjoyed the show. The Shadows were his supporting act. More innocent times in those days. I seem to remember Norman Vaughn (Vaughan?) was the compare, he later presented Saturday Night at the London Palladium ... Thank you for posting this recording, it's brought back many happy memories.
