Emerson, Lake & Palmer, also known as ELP, are a sporadically active English progressive rock supergroup. They found success in the 1970s and have sold over forty million albums and headlined large stadium concerts. The band consists of Keith Emerson (keyboards), Greg Lake (bass guitar, vocals, guitar) and Carl Palmer (drums, percussion). They are one of the most popular and commercially successful progressive rock bands.

Comparing "The Police" with "Cream" and "E,L&P"?.Gee...I don´t think so."Cream" and "E,L&P" were two amazing and imaginative bands each with three awesome instrumentalists and each with two of the greatest r&r vocalists of all time (Mr. Jack Bruce and Mr. Greg Lake...uhhh).Also, their musical output (both at the studio and in concert) was years ahead of their time."The Police" (on the other hand) was an non-imaginative.overrated-third-class-tiny-band and Mr. Sting (or whatever his name is) is an overrated vocalist that in no way could be compared to Mr. Jack Bruce and to Mr.Greg Lake.10 years назад
