Thank you for sharing on YouTube.When Elvis was filming this movie he was enjoying one of his most joyful (personal and professional) years. He was just about to complete his movie contracts which dated back to 1960 the year he returned back to the US after being honorably discharged by the US Army.One interesting fact about his being in the US Army is that while on maneuvers, he was assigned at one point to jeep "duty", with a high ranking officer they went 7 miles into Russian territory. Elvis later recalled "I was scared man and I didn't want those Ruskies to see us so we turned around and drove as fast as was safe. It was funny later on but those dudes were serious and they hated me since the 50s. calling me a tool of America. My CO said he thought we were gonna die and if I had known that's what he thought we probably would have. Thank god for it being a full moon so I could see the road again".He was in great spirit and shape and his career was revived by the Singer TV special entitled "Elvis" but otherwise known as; the comeback special, the 68 special, or Elvis comeback.He was on the verge of appearing live in Las Vegas and he was thankful for the ability to sing real songs again and appear before his fans with the last live appearance approximately 8 years removed.Take care and may God bless you.Jeff SchrembswwwElvisCollectorInfo
