I loved this song when i was a kid and still love In the first half of 70's Elton has almost already wrote all his best, but that is so good to be played for 50 years to come. Yeah he is timeless

Never heard this version before, it is Great! I have the original studio version on a UK import album titled "Lady Samantha" which I bought in a TSS record shop (in Elmont, NY) in the 80's. I also enjoy the 11.17.70 version, but this is the best, I think. You can tell that this is from 1974...I hear the influence of bells like you hear in "Lucy in theSky", also from 1974. Elton, your voice in the early 70's was at its prime. Wish we had it back.
