It makes not really a difference but many teenagers listen to mainstream music and not to songs like that. Just look at the age structure in the statistic and you'll probably know what I mean.

I love this performance so much... Unfortunately the album version is so much weaker. He's a tremendously powerful acoustic musician, why oh why does he clutter up his recent albums with just about everything EXCEPT his acoustic guitar? It may be one reason why he isn't more popular- his performances are often better than his produced album tracks but those are the recordings of "record."

I'm not a Lady Gaga fan, but i must say she plays the piano and sings really well, and some of her songs are beautiful... Why slam her? Ellis has his own thing and the two have nothing to do will one another.

I don't get why people get angry about artists which aren't more popular or more 'famous' than what they already are. They still write beautiful music and you are still able to share it with whoever you would like. Just enjoy the music, you shouldn't use the man's talent as a reason to belittle a more comercial artists music.

@blehman18066 Ellis paul writes and produces all of his own music, he chooses not to be signed to a major label. he very well could if he wanted, he's more satisfied by seeing people enjoy his music than he is by making millions of dollars. lol stupid people might also play a part in his lack of popularity.

WHY? Is he not more popular? Because we live in times like these. Stupidity rules. Genius like Ellis is overlooked by too many of our fellow citizens, on their way to buy the new Lady GaGa disc. We cannot change the choices that our fellow citizens make, as poor as those choices may be. All we can do is encourage like minded individulals to make up their own damned minds, and keep posting GREAT videos of Ellis to help them make a choice that will benefit them down the road.
