Elyze would have been a great fit for the style Nightwish has adopted after Tarja's departure, can't see her singing Tarja's songs though. I loved Annete and the style Nightwish had become with her, contrarily to what most people seem to think, to me Annete's era just speaks to me more. Floor is awesome but I don't like the way Nightwish is going now, the few new songs I've heard don't seem to pack a punch as the previous albuns, Floor is underwhelming, maybe they aren't taking full advantage of what her voice has to offer.

Tbh if she had joined NW instead of Anette she would have receive the same hate Anette did and people wouldn't see her in the same light they do now.

Hearing this has just made me wish that Elize had become Tarja's replacement, and I think that if she had she would still be in the band today, and Nightwish would've gone through a better time than the crisis they went through with Anette resulting in her being fired and the new Nightwish would have been more liked and more people would've liked the post-Tarja albums being Dark Passion Play, Imaginaerum and Endless Forms Most Beautiful, but then again if she had have joined the band and they hadn't have picked Anette in the first place we wouldn't have Floor in the band, and we also wouldn't have Amaranthe

She sounds great and she did well with this song but I still struggle to listen to this song with anyone besides Tarja (yes, this includes Anette and Floor who I both love)

I'm glad Nightwish didn't pick Elize as Tarja ' s replacement. If they did there wouldn't be Amaranthe and people would be crying and butt hurt calling her Tarja light or some other unflattering name. Elize did awesome background vocals for Kamelot on their last album along with Alyssa White. Got to see them both live. \m/ \ m /.
