its like this album was too good, every song is a masterpiece, I remember buying the cassette when it came out and listened to it for years, then somehow lost the cassette...and bought it years later on amazon in cd format...its really a great cd I love and brings back lots of memories.

See i'm one of those people who wonders how two great artists came up with this....hmm.... underwhelming stuff. It hasn't aged well for one. I didn't like europop then and it's only worse now. Most songs barely feature Marr on guitar and the stuff he plays sounds like Bernard. I wonder how involved he was in this... Lets just say nowhere near the level of greatness of either New Order or The Smiths. Then again they were doing something different so I suppose its not fair to rank this against those two bands. I suppose it ranks well against the pet shop boys? Though they have some songs I like...i'm not sure I like anything on this record.

so under-rated this album its frightening. However when you put two geniuses like Marr and Sumner together they could have made an album on the triangle and I would have liked it.

I loved that, the synths just roll on for a while whilst you whistled along. Music then was so varied and nothing since has gotten close, we might all just be boring and old but the truth is music has been shite for too long

A reason for that is of course that Sumner is not alone in this band, he has companion Johnny Marr (guitarist the Smiths)on his side, who delivers some great melodies on the three Electronic-albums.

Love this album; many great songs on it, Gangster being the best of them in my opinion.

Love the 'FBI remix' of this, off the Dissapointed single. Really just an extended version, but makes a brilliant song even better.
