I have just purchased every single album these dudes have made, and hope in some way to have contributed to making them decently rich, so they can continue making utterly, utterly awesome music. I've been listening for a song which makes me go "Oh, that's not so good..." but there are none. Not a SINGLE dud on ANY of their albums. Even the Queen cover is cool. Electric Six. Too awesome for words..........................

@CodyT3212 E6 seem to get better with every album, they're releasing stuff that has the potential to be massive given the chance. Problem is, I don't think anyone wants to put any money behind them when they can promote marketable, formulaic, "ticks all the boxes" acts with no real energy behind them that will guarantee returns. I think the problem is that the majority of people let marketing departments and radio personalities tell them what they like.

@daniel1982 You think I'm knocking the Six? I live by them. I listen to E6, eat and breathe: in that order! I'm simply saying that there are so many SHITTY artists out there getting filthy fucking rich off CRAP while an actual talented, hard working group like this are going around the country in a tiny van loading their own equipment. I've seen this. I've met Dick Valentine in a bathroom! Grateful for that but it would be nice to hear them on the radio and see their albums charting.

@CodyT3212 Some people have other resaons than 'big success and money. I PERSONALLY believe all thier albums have been great sucsses, no matter what you say.

@CodyT3212 Not in the 70's... Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Queen were all tremendously popular. Popular music is not always bad.

Let them love terrible music, this allows us to see GREAT live shows without having to sit in the very back or pay an insane amount for decent seats. The only thing that matters is that Dick and the gang enjoy doing what they do. Not being on a major label allows e6 to write the music they want.

instant classic? yeah right. i wish man. This amazing band was swept under the entertainment rug many years ago unfortunately....and no matter how many great albums they make they will never have commercial success again. Why? because time and time again the people have spoken: The mass majority like terrible, terrible music.
